SorSU RET MANDATES

The Office of Research, Extension and Training (RET) has two major component offices,
namely, Research and Development, and Extension and Training that spearhead the mandated
functions on knowledge and technology (KT) generation and KT utilization, respectively. These
two mandated functions of the RET shall pursue partnerships with local and international
organizations to ensure KT relevance to various stakeholders at different levels. The office is
supported by sub-offices or units that champion the KTs assessment and protection before
transfer and dissemination.
